National Disability Insurance Scheme
As a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme provider, McLean Care underwent a mid-cycle audit on the 3rd and 4th February. This audit was fully compliant and highlighted how well the NDIS standards of practice are integrated into the care provided to NDIS participants within McLean Care. The audit highlighted the Governance Frameworks within McLean Care, including Board development and evaluation, our detailed and impressive strategic plan and the high level of training and performance reviews completed within our staff numbers.
The COVID-19 vaccination commenced rollout within Aged Care Services in February. There is an enormous amount of information regarding the vaccines in the media. To cut through this, any questions that you have can be directed to your General Practitioner or to our Managerial staff at McLean Care. As a regional provider of care services to many vulnerable people throughout NSW and QLD, we strongly encourage everyone to receive the Vaccination.
The Royal Commission
The Aged Care Royal Commission have released their final report in March. McLean Care is very focussed on providing quality care services, and how the recommendations can enhance our care and services today and in the future.
