Government announces delay to Aged Care Act and Support at Home reforms
The Australian Government has announced a delay to the introduction of the new Support at Home program and the new Aged Care Act, which were originally scheduled to commence on 1 July 2025. These reforms will now come into effect on 1 November 2025.
The decision to delay was made to allow additional time for providers, consumers, and the sector as a whole to prepare for the significant changes being introduced.
What does this mean for you?
