Your experience matters: McLean Care partners with Southern Cross University to support global ageing research

Jul 3, 2025

At McLean Care, we believe that older Australians are the experts when it comes to ageing well. That’s why we’re proud to support research projects that place your voice and lived experience at the heart of innovation.

We’ve partnered with Southern Cross University which is conducting an Honours Psychology Research Project that explores what truly supports healthy, independent ageing. This research will not only shape future services and policy in Australia, it also contributes to global knowledge, informing organisations such as the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Older adults living independently are invited to take part in this anonymous 10–20 minute survey, designed to gather real-life insights that matter. Your participation helps to highlight what older Australians value most - ensuring that future health and support services reflect what truly matters to those receiving them.

Why get involved?

  • Your voice will help shape the future of ageing services.
  • The survey is completely anonymous—only grouped, de-identified responses are used.
  • The insights gathered will inform both local care strategies and global health research.
  • It’s a simple but powerful way to contribute to meaningful change.

As a McLean Care client, your perspective is valued.

Share your wisdom and make a real impact - both locally and globally.
