Aboriginal Totem Sculpture A Welcome Addition To Kolora.

New artwork by Guyra Aboriginal artist Brian Irving recently installed at McLean Care Kolora pays homage to past aboriginal elders and the Guyra community.

Brian Irving’s totem pole sculpture was officially dedicated by Armidale Regional Council Mayor Simon Murray and former Guyra Shire Councillor and 2018 Guyra Citizen of the Year Dot Vickery at a special ceremony held last week at McLean Care Kolora. T

here are growing numbers of older Aboriginal Australians in our region as well as in our care. Having Aboriginal art design here at Kolora signifies a powerful identity, spirituality and pays respect to our ancestral creators.
