Managing the facility since March 2020, McLean Care’s Yallambee latest Aged Care Quality and Safety re-accreditation audit undertaken by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency at the end of 2020, gave the new Custodians a tick of approval meeting all outcomes of the 8 Aged Care Quality standards.

Yallambee’s 3 year accreditation will now expire in November 2023.

Facility Manager Mary-Ann McKenzie said she was happy that McLean Care have upheld their responsibilities and fills the Millmerran community with confidence that we maintain these standards.

In total 34 people were interviewed.  6 of these were consumers who could answer themselves and 5 were representatives of those who could not “consumers/representatives said ‘staff valued the consumer’s culture, values and diversity by describing what is important to them and how staff provide care and services that are physically, socially and emotionally safe for them and their family members.”
