Quality Indicator ProgramJuly 29, 2021 6:41 am
National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program started on the 1st of July, aiming to collect quality indicator data measuring the important aspects of quality care that impact a patient’s health and wellbeing.
Residential aged care providers will need to provide a report on 5 new quality indicators and 8 categories.
These reports are then submitted to the Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Health in accordance with legislative requirements.
This is then forwarded onto the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission which assesses the providers Quality Indicators compliance.
